E. Griffin Jr., SSgt., U.S. Air Force, 32, of Ray
City, died in an automobile accident on Thursday,
March 15, 2001 in Lowndes County.
He was born on May 9,
1968 in Fresno, Calif. Mr. Griffin was serving in
the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Moody Air
Force Base.
He is survived by his
wife, Julie Bloom Griffin; two sons, David and Jacob
Griffin, all of Ray City; a sister, Kathy Homuth
of Brea, Calif.; a brother, Ted Griffin of Wyoming;
his mother, Veta Craig of Walnut, Calif.; and his
father, Robert E. Griffin of Ontario, Calif.
A memorial service for
Staff Sgt. Griffin will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday
at Quiet Pines Golf Course at Moody Air Force Base.
Graveside services for Staff Sgt. Griffin will be
held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Cook - Walden Capital
Park Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas with full military
honors. The family will receive friends from 7-9
p.m. today at the funeral home. -- Carson McLane
